Gratitude..

A lot of us acknowledge God for the big, easy-to-see things that happen in our lives that we don’t mind sharing..

But I want to acknowledge how He gives me peace of mind every morning, although I’ve been walking through one of the most difficult seasons of my life for nearly a year- His grace is sufficient for me; how He chases after me with boundless grace & mercy; how He has gently led me through the pain of broken relationships and healed my spirit; how He has molded the trauma of abandonment by people I loved and trusted into an avenue through which I’ve experienced the magnitude of His never-ending faithfulness toward me; how He has filled me with His joy, that is not dependent on my circumstances, and doesn’t fade when the winds of adversity rage around me; how He calms my soul when anxiety beckons me into its depths; how He has delivered me from old habits that didn’t serve me well, and has never once used condemnation to cajole me into continuing to work on the ones I’ve found harder to break; how He continues to teach me endurance, perseverance, and shows me how to forgive, even the seemingly unforgivable; how He has healed my mind and spirit, and taught me that my path forward has never been, and will never be, dependent upon the words, thoughts or actions of someone else; how He’s proven, time and time again, that His will for me is good, and His calling on my life is bigger than I ever even imagined; how He has used the very devastations I’ve experienced in my life to bring me to a brand new depth in Him; how He’s revealed to me a new knowledge of His will for me that has left me thankful for all of the pain that has birthed my purpose; how He wakes me each morning with sweet reminders of His unconditional love for me..

The list can go on and on!

Lord, I'm so thankful for EVERYTHING that You have done, and are doing, in my life. I don't want to miss one “small” miracle, or take one moment of Your goodness for granted.
