The Grander Plan - Beauty in the Betrayal..

This is for the one who’s been betrayed..

For the one who’s lost some “friends..”

For the one who’s had their trust fractured..

For the one who’s afraid to be vulnerable again..

For the one who’s feeling worn and defeated by all the struggles this last year brought..

...For the one who’s questioned if you’d even make it through it all..

Let me encourage you to put it all in holy perspective, my friend. God has a grander plan, and sometimes He has to isolate you before He elevates you. It may seem like everything around you fell apart this year, but He has more in store for you than you could ever even imagine. Even Jesus was betrayed by someone He called a “friend,” but it was all part of the grander plan (Psalm 41:9)..

Perhaps when you saw your “friend” leaving your side, GOD was actually stepping in to separate you from them so that He could protect you. Perhaps God removed you from a table where you used to sit because HE saw that the host was secretly serving you poison. God sees every move made behind your back.. God sees the manipulation tactics you don’t see.. God hears every conversation held behind closed doors. God sees the true intentions of every heart- nothing is hidden from Him (1st Samuel 16:7; Luke 8:17; Jeremiah 11:20; Hebrews 4:12).

Sometimes what we see as abandonment is actually divine deliverance..

Sometimes what we see as loss is actually divine protection..

Sometimes what we see as demotion is actually divine promotion..

The Lord is whispering to your heart today:

“It wasn’t for nothing. Everything that you went through, it wasn’t for nothing. Even through all of the pain and the heartache, you have kept the faith and held onto Me. And I am holding onto you. I have a much better plan, just keep trusting in Me.”

(Jeremiah 29:11)

Friend, we serve a God that NEVER changes, so when everything looks unstable, and you’re feeling unsure about it all, you can confidently look to the One who remains constant (Hebrews 13:8). When everything seems to be falling apart, you can look to the One who holds it all together (Colossians 1:17). When you feeling afraid of what tomorrow will bring, you can look to the One who holds tomorrow (Matthew 6:34).

Even when “friends” fail us, He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Deutoronomy 31:6).
